Physics Basis of Planetary Gravitation

摘要：

   Gravitation rules the dynamics of celestial bodies in the solar system. The theory of multipoles that has been extremely successful in classical electromagnetism and quorum mechanics can be well transplanted into the Newtonian gravitation. We shall develop the density multipole theory that proves to be powerful in understanding and treating two-body gravitational interactions as well as the mechanics of planetary interiors. 

报告人简介：

        赵丰，山东科技大学（青岛）测绘与空间信息学院讲座教授，博导、硕导，教育部长江学者。1973年本科毕业于台湾大学物理系，1981年博士毕业于加州大学圣地亚哥分校斯克里普斯海洋研究所，2025年3月加入山东科技大学（青岛）测绘与空间信息学院。    

    赵丰教授长期致力于空间大地测量与地球动力学研究，在海平面变化、地球自转、重力场变化及信号分析方法等领域取得突出成就。曾任国际地球自转服务指导委员会委员、NASA戈达德太空飞行中心研究员/大地测量部门主管、AGU 大地测量学部主席、亚洲大洋洲地球科学学会主席等重要学术职务。现任《JGR-Solid Earth》、《Earth, Planets and Space》与《Journal of Geodynamics》等多个国际权威期刊副编辑。先后成为中国科学院大学与澳门科技大学的荣誉教授，9次获NASA杰出绩效奖，2019年当选美国地球物理学会会士。
